LOCAL TRIATHLON COACHES

When choosing a Triathlon Coach it is important that you shop around and find the appropriate fit for you. Determine what type of athlete you are, what event or distance you are training towards and your key focus areas. Each coach has different coaching styles and focuses, so be sure to ask the questions and find the coach that will work for YOU! Be sure to also check out their accreditation and experience...

Coaching Philosophy:

TO BE THE BEST....TRAIN WITH THE BEST...TRAIN HARD ...VERY HARD

The goal of coaching is to develop the ‘best you can be on race day’ Triathlete, a person who has the fitness, physical skill, knowledge, focus and confidence to accomplish his or her goals. I focus on the aerobic system, as it is the primary determinant of endurance athletic performance. The aerobic system is the most efficient energy system in the body, and it produces the fewest negative by-products. A highly developed aerobic system can tolerate an enormous load, allowing an athlete to do more work before calling on additional, more fatiguing systems for energy. The end result is greater sustained power and less overall fatigue.

I have been coaching athletes for three years, and I understand the athlete with a spouse, a partner, a family, a career, a social life, and the importance of making sure all the pieces fit together. I get immense satisfaction from helping any athlete to achieve their goals, no matter the level they choose to perform at.
